The Haverhill River Bards are excited to get the opportunity to run a poetry program in collaboration with Whittier Birthplace at the home and farm that John Greenleaf Whittier grew up on here in Haverhill.
For this program, the Whittier Birthplace will be offering a historic tour from 6:00-6:30 pm and then the River Bards will follow in the event space by reading some favorite Whittier poems and then by hosting an open mic for anyone who would like to share. Open mic sign-ups will be available on-site and will be first come first served.
This is a free in-person program where masks are optional.
